VESPA BURLINGTON
2388 Fairview Street, Burlington, ON L7R 2E4

Go out of Business? I ordered some parts from them November 12th. I hadn't gotten the parts in 2 weeks so I emailed them last week. No response. I emailed them again this week ...no response and i can't get them on the phone. All it does is go to voicemail.

WTF They sure processed my credit card fast though!

Anybody have any info?

It would make sense to call your bank ASAP and start the refund process. It may be related to the fact that CSC in Canada has lost the Piaggio distribution rights.

Have you followed the threads related to it? If not, you may want to review them.

Having dealt with them on several occasions, I don't have the impression that they'd pull an underhanded stunt like absconding with your money. However, they may be in a state of upheaval from all the Piaggio reoganizing that's going on in Canada.

As far as I know, there's no corporate relationship between CSC and Burlington Vespa; BV is just a reputable dealer that happens to be near Toronto. I can't see how the CSC situation would affect BV directly, as long as Piaggio USA is supporting Canadian dealers.

I notice that BV has posted to the forum as recently as Nov. 20.

BTW, I doubt that your bank will help you with a credit card charge after the fact.

I think a few of the dealers in Canada are going to be hung out to dry, as not all of the existing network will be authorized under the "new" Piaggio N.A. arrangement. When I was last at Vespa Burlington, they had a large inventory of vehicles and parts accordingly.

I think it is not only the dealers that are going to be stiffed, but a lot of folks like you and me that want warranty and parts, etc.

Contrary to the glass is half full folks, I think this glass is more than half empty, if you get my drift.
