Modern Vespa

hi,
it makes time that i didn't pass on the forum to say hello, & look at the moderns projects...
In fact since last summer many things have change.

For scootering life, I still commute on my daily GTRat200L, but on the other hand, i'm really back to my true love, 2strokes, gears smoke etc...
I bought some 2 px crashed, to rebilt one:


than rode it until last week when i sold it, for my real project, The one i awlays wanted:

a french ACMA typeN from 60 that was made under licence from piaggio
for me the best looking "vespa"

it will be powered by a rally 200 the best engine
that i have in my workshop, well tuned
i'm rebuilding it day after day. The trip is to make a rodrunner for 2010's sunny days

As i told you my project of this winter as been the total rebuilt of an ACMA type N from 1960 powered by a rally 200 from 1977 with a pk fork and other specials things like the shiny & loudy exhaust & horn

i bought a project not ended from a friend
this is a french GT first serie, few differences from my last acma
i'll keep it on 8" wheels with his original 4 gears
for the engine a 177 full malossi with a large exhaust





hope you'll like the louvers inverted for a good ventilation of the engine

Looks nice, but your seat is too long. You need something at the rear there or it'll look odd.

i sold the GT177, & made a Vespa3 (p200+side) this winter:

than sold it in june cause it was really unusable in paris & bought a servetta jet200, the king of the "spanish lambretta"

so the fish aircooled familiy is now:
Motovespa2DR177, servettajet200, ACMArally200powered


also changed my darksidecommuter and i'm back on a GTS300 full stock

i sold the side car hardly usable in paris ans bought these

the servetta jet 200 as been mine for few monthes, to sporty for my use. I made a scooter rally in perpignan in june and sold it for a real scooterist
the '81 vespa2 is a great ride with his engine rebuilt with a DR77 and a 24/24 carb upgrade, perfect for the mountain rides in pyrenees


in paris still riding my ACMA rally witch still the best combo for my daily aerobike
