Hello again, I need a new exhaust for my 125cc ET4 and am a complete novice. I think I have narrowed it down to a Sitoplus or a Scorpion Stainless Steel one. Any advice on which exhaust and I think I should be able to do the job myself from what I have read in Haynes Nerd emoticon

Got this GPR for my LX150ie. Had to retrofit the 02 sensor stub on to the header pipe. Lovely sounding. Not to loud on the cruise but then has a lovely bark to it under power. Also gave it a boost on the top end.

I would go for the stiloplus. I have just fitted one to my et 4 it is a grate exahust, it's not that loud eather. I would suggest the you use some sort of anti seze grease on the exsust bolts which is what I did. It should help to stop the bolts becomeing seized which will help in the future if you need to remove the exhaust for some reason.

Run far, far away from the Scorpion exhaust. They will not last. They are awful exhausts. One dealer told me that they do not answer any warranty issues either (that is why this particular dealer stopped carrying them).

I switched from the Scorpion to the Sito Plus and I am quite happy with it. It is much sturdier.

Thanks folks - once again some great advice for someone new to Vespas but loaded with enthusiasm - looks like the Sito will be on order tomorrow.
