Given some of the discussions here over the past few days about safety issues, I thought that I would mention that I saw an obituary this morning in the Washington Post for Harry Hurt, who passed on November 29:

Obviously his work was seminal in influencing a lot of the best thinking about safety on scooters and similar PTWs, for example as reflected in the discussion in _Proficient Motorcycling_.
