Hi, I lost my remote key a few weeks ago and hasn't gotten my replacement yet. So I have been using the twist of the key in the ignition method to open the trunk but some reason yesterday it stop working. My documents and gloves are all underneath the seat so I really like to find a way to get in just in case. I have heard in the past on the board that there are some other way to get in, if someone know can they pm me?
Its an MP3 500 btw

There is the small possibility that the fact that the key-turn doesn't open it may mean rather more devious methods would have to be employed. I've not had to investigate those.

It worked! so much for underseats storage security! I check the lock and it seems to be fine but the key turn still gets no response what so ever. For some reason I always thought that the key turn unlock is mechanical (ie the twist actually tug the cable) but I guess that is not the case?

It is mechanical. Check you can open the petrol flap - if neither seem to work then the black ring around the ignition switch may have risen up (they break their tabs rather easily) or it's rotated slightly. If that's OK then it's panels off to check the cable connection at the ignition end.

You can adjust the seat latch downwards so the seat will only lock when you push it firmly down on purpose. I do this to all my seats as it's rare I'm in a situation where they really must be locked.
