After seeing some of the mileage you guys are getting from your tires I have decided to post a pic of the rear tire from my 300. It is a Pirelli GTS24 and has 1700 miles on it. I am pretty hard on the throttle and they have held up quite well. I'll get at least 4K out of it I bet.

I've got 4000+ on the rear of my 300 (same GT24 tire) and it still looks okay. Of course, the bike is sitting at my shop, waiting for my lazy ass to fix the exhaust, but that's a different story.

Yea I think Pirelli was on the ball when they designed this rear tire in that there is no tread groove in the direct middle part of the tire that gets the most wear.

14" wheels as opposed to 12" wheels - the 300 rear tyre should be good for at least 6-8000 miles.
Muddled up my bikes. Must get out more...

I'm not sure My GTS has 12" wheels, and I changed rear @4400 miles, and it just was getting to the bars, It was A GTS24 stock tire.

Lucky, mine (250 Super) is at 2700 miles and I don't know if it can go to 3000 when I'll be doing the oil change service. It would be nice to do all the tasks at the same time. I seem to be getting better tire wear with the 10" tires on the Rally.

Wasn't too tiddly - but swapping back and forth between the MP3 area and this board got me muddled, as the MP3 250 now comes with 14" rear wheels, and for some unknow reason I made the leap of thinking that the GTS300 had also so benefited.

But it was single malt at the time.

That is not only unsafe, it's illegal! I would have changed it AT LEAST 300 miles ago....

Please ride safe!

+100

Any water or ice (or painted lines) on the road could send you skipping across the pavement... Looks like you may be testing the performance of your asphalt resistance.
