I have a piaggio x9 125 2002 and the exhaust is blowing having descoverd that there is a gap between the head and down pipe, i have tryed to sort it out but i was not able to get to the bolts propley.

I was wondering if any of you knew the eyest and best way to get the exhaust off.

Without a bike-lift you really need to take loads of plastic off, including all rear panels, seat, access hatch under seat, tunnel cover and both footboards. Then you get enough light and room to manouver. You may well need a 'wobble' head to get a socket onto the nuts squarely, or you might be able to get them off just using a spanner.

Unless you've got a nice warm garage to work in, this time of year it'll be a horrid job - best to get a dealer to look at it, as if they are seized on the last thing you want to do is round them off.
