Sunny California has its' off days, too. This is what's left in the hills near me from a storm a couple of days ago.
I wanted to ride up Mt. Hamilton (the long shot) but the road was closed. I can't imagine it was very bad after two days of clear weather but on the other hand we don't get snow down to this level very often. ![]() ![]() |

I am a fair weather rider... and my scoot is off to be painted, But there is another scooterist where I work and he rides 365, rain, snow and ice as long as his wife isn't on his case to skip the icy days. Granted he only lives about a mile from work. He rides a Honda without a helmet. His been doing his for at least 10 years that I know of. We missed the worst of this last storm thank goodness. He says his next scoot will be a piaggio. I've been trying to get a picture of him riding but we come and go at different times.
anyways here's his scooter. ![]() |
