Modern Vespa

Just retired and bought the super, great scooter - very fast and great handling, traded in a LX125 for the super.

added Vespa back box and full screen, also rear crash bars as well

the scoot is black with the white piping on the seat and back rest

any ideas for other goodies ??

Lucky guy... i love mine... you pretty well got it covered.... except if you ride cold and rain i can suggest Tucano products ... R154 scud cover and the neoprene gloves are must have's.....

I have all the clobber - however I am being a bit precious when its a howling gale

also the broke leg just required a second operation recently and I am being a bit of a tart ( wife can get the hump when I am zooming about is the sh*t too )

Congrats on your retirement. Treating yourself with a 300 is a great way to begin! I picked up a black 300 myself in September and have enjoyed it thoroughly. Sounds like you have already dressed it well.

Now u need a Leo vince exhaust to really make it fly. I have a new one for sale in the for sale section. Welcome 2 the club.

Congratulations on the 300 Super, awesome scooter isn't it? The next mod I would suggest would be a Stebel airhorn, that way you can blast motorists who cut you off and make sure they know that you're there. 8) Good safety mod and it is fun.

I traded my LX125 for the super, they are in different leagues aren't they?

It sounds like you have a few bits and bobs already, but there are a few other things you could consider. 1. a custom seat cover (a cheap mod if you cover it yourself) AlanW , who posts on here sells them. 2. A jettin Visor (a little peak hat for your headlight, better than it sounds) 3. a 12V outlet for your shatnav etc.

Wow, wish I was in the UK. Sounds like a bunch of old farts that enjoy getting together, but nobody likes each other. My kind of club. Perfect balance. Other members could tell newbies how to fix shit, and I could tell them how they can bust their ass by doing stupid shit like I did as a young 'un.

Fulham, you know you'll get the U.S. soccer fans all atwitter with that shield. With Brian McBride before and now Clint Dempsey (Eddie Johnson not so much), I think most U.S. fans always look to see how Fulham are doing in the Premiership.

Sorry to be a bore

as previous post have ordered Jettin visor which of course means dismantling that area, does anyone know what the standard H4 bulb is fitted and whether while its all apart there is a more powerful H4 headlight bulb I can pop in ???

checked the manual and there is no bulb info that i can find, I want to put LED stop and tail as well if anyone can shed info on that

standard fittings for bulbs I dont intend any re wiring

The GTS is a great scooter, I've had a 250 and upgraded to the 300 in January.

Why not check out www.gtsownersclub.co.uk? Loads of model specific stuff on there 8)

The chrome Jettin wings dont fit 300's though horncasts a different shape to the 250

The brembo brake kit is the dogs bollocks though best upgrade for a gts IMHO.
