I think they look pretty good for a modern (retro)version of a classic. Kind of like the new camero or pt cruiser.
I know this is a Vespa board but I think the lambretta looks better. |

I rode in to work today on the Stella (with snow tires). Getting home is probably going to take a while.

I'd love to have a ratty old P with snow tires to fart around on in the winter.
Last year, I got our Honda Metro out in the snow. The tires are equivalent to Zippy 1's so the only thing I could really do was try and keep it from falling over. Tom, what are the brand / model of the snow tires? |

I don't hate it...any more than I don't hate my GT200--except that this one is all plastic--that blows. But neither will ever get the respect I give my smallstate or any other vintage scoot for that matter.

I actually don't hate the looks. Yeah, it's new, non-shifting, blah, blah, blah. But so is my GTS.

keep the paint original. a 19/19 and an et3 banana pipe is a great way to go. she is looking great, by the way. the seat looks good.

I actually think it LOOKS fine. Its appearance is a fairly appealing modern rendition of that classic look IMHO. That said, the engine looks totally cheap from the limited viewing angle provided in the pics, and I think it deserves a metal body like modern Vespas to do the name justice.

Looks like something Pixar would come up with if they needed a Lambretta in one of their animations.

Someone else posted those pics a month ago. Personally I really like the looks and think it really pays homage to Lambretta. If it looked like that AND had high build quality you couldn't go wrong. It really looks like a modern Lammy.
BTW- Why does it have a Modern Vespa bag hook? ⚠️ Last edited by VEZPA on UTC; edited 1 time

So who is going to start the Modern Lammy website?
The modern lam reminds me of the GTS I used to own. They have successfully duplicated the cosmetics of the body shape but you can tell it's a twist and go underneath the plastic covers. I guess if I was in the market for a modern scoot and there were no vintage bikes to speak of (thankfully that is not the case) I would buy it. |

I like it a lot, goes back to the orig Lamby look. Plus you wont have to push start this one like a normal Lamby.
I wonder if the crash bars are gong to be plastic. Smack a GTS motor in and that would be the fastest plastic scoot ever. Since its not Servetta is it a Chinetta? |
