Bumping an old post because I want to get the low OEM flyscreen. I looked at Scooterwest and a few other places and can't seem to find anyone that sells it.

Any direction as to where I can order one in the U.S.?

The Vespa flyscreen is the least expensive performance mod you can add to your scooter. You will find that acceleration is improved as well as top end. In addition, comfort at highway speeds is improved as the main effect of the flyscreen is to redirect the wind away from your body. The negative for most is that it increases turbulence around your helmet and thus might increase noise at highway speeds.
1+ Spot on...don't feel the wind hitting my upper torso as much but it does create some buffeting at shouldter / head level...better than not having a windscreen. I'm 5'8" and please keep in mind that the effective height coming off the seal is your hip to top of head (upper torso) and this does differ by individual.

I got mine for a good price on e-bay. (I bought it from a Vespa Dealer but do not remember which one.)

Thanks, looked on ebay and didnt see any OEM kits, just the screen and I would need hardward. I also found it on Vespa Eastside site but since I want some additional items on Scooterwest, probably going that route.

I would rather Freeze a bit than put one of those HUGE windshields on my bike. They are also dangerous in high winds as they can act like a sail and pull your bike around. They even come with a warning to stay under 60mph or something with it on.
The sail thing is a complete myth.

If you want noise and turbulence get a flyscreen. It aims wind and turbulence straight at your chin and neck area and you'll definitely need earplugs. The large screen makes everything really quiet. I hate the looks but love what it does.
100% agree.

Long rides with the tall screen are a less tiring... less noise, less wind to fight with.
Last weekend I was riding by the sea in 40mph gusty winds. I tried it both with and without the screen. There was no difference at all, it actually felt better WITH the screen as it was protecting my body from the wind.

Me personaly, I don't mind the look of the tall screen. I don't like the fact that I look at the world through another piece of plastic and I prefer riding without it, but when going for a long ride, I always take it with me. In cold and rain, it is invaluable.
