You kind of have two choices, the dealer or the internet, neither of which should you need your manual to order.

I was hoping to cross to something local. I realize that I could have written a note of the mfg/part no. from the manual, but to be sure that I had as much info with me as possible, I carried the entire manual. My declining memory capacity took care of the ultimate outcome.

I can order from the web, and did. But I have a difficult situation that I did not feel was necessary to explain. I travel in a self contained RV, dry camping typically 30 miles from even small towns, on solar power. That implies no shipping address. That in turn implies no UPS delivery. Most/many web sites will ship only UPS, and will not ship USPS General Delivery. That leaves me in a bind at 600 mile service. Hence the exhaustive search locally.

I did finally locate a site in San Diego that will ship to General Delivery, so the filter is finally on it's way.
