First pic shows reflectors removed and holes plugged, front suspension cover replaced, and 1960's Vespa club badges on the front (these were lapel badges, not the full size ones for fixing to scooters).

Following pictures show the PM exhaust, and my modification to the tail light.

I still plan to fit a floor mat.

Mike.

You didn't seem to be doing anything wrong. I just copied the URL's and pasted them the same way you did.
Don't have a clue.

Nice scoot by the way! I still don't like the rear light on the GT. The GTS has a different one and I lik eit better.
But that's just me.

Thanks for that. But now my post is a bit of a mess. I hope Jess can provide an answer.
My pics are too big for easy viewing, so I halved their size in photobucket. But they still come out the same size here! Looks like modernvespas thin a buffer, or at least the web addresses of the original large versions. Maybe tomorrow it will all come out right.

I thought the European GT taillight looked like a Christmas tree ornament. So I covered the silver section with vinyl to match the body colour. The GTS one is better than the original, but I still prefer mine.

You had BBCode disabled in your post. You probably have it that way in your profile, but you can change the setting on a per-message basis when posting (or editing) a message.

I re-enabled it for your post, and the pictures showed up.

Hehe... I guess we had similar thoughts. I too have the Euro tail light, but I went ahead and had it painted the same blk flake color. Really a clean sweet look. I like you mini badges not too much...just enough.

I have to ask people when I see them with the PM exhaust (cause I'm thinking of getting it), What do you think of it? Do you feel faster? How the sound to load for ya or just right? And lastly any problems?

Sorry for so many question, thanks for you input.

Thanks Jess. Now what do I have to do to make the pics smaller? I loaded half-size pics into photobucket, but they still come out the same size here.

X, regarding the exhaust, it gives a little more oomph - 2 extra horses according to PM's tests reported in Scootering mag. It sounds great, a bit louder (especially when accelerating away) and a bit deeper. And as the pics show, it looks beautiful - far better than the amorphous black lump that it replaces.

Mike.

They look pretty reasonably sized on my side -- if you made the images smaller after you posted, it could be that your browser is caching the previous larger sized image. Either try reloading the page, or clearing the cache, quitting, and re-launching your browser. Or, look at it from another computer, if you have access to one. The images that I see are maybe between 400 and 500 pixels wide (just eyeballing that) which is completely acceptable.

I need to set up another picture of it, in its other guise with floor mat and without top box and rack.
Will be fitting a Malossi CDI tomorroqw, then a Malossi variator shortly after, but these will not show in the pics.

Not just you, but I think its easy to understand why, a round tail light simply looks out of place on the GT when you consider the rest of the shapes you see from the rear.
