Well....
As Dirndl and Lederhosen nowadays are also subject of fashion and style, the authenticity is more or less gone apart from the more rural areas.

Themed costume party. Some friends of ours have a costumed holiday party every year, with a different theme each year. This year's theme was "Fairy Tales". If you'll look closely in the picture you can see that the kitchen cabinets have been dressed up to look like a gingerbread house.
