I went to the dealer yesterday and they had a 2005 GT200 that has just come in. The guy traded it for a 250. The GT200 is a 2005 with about 7k miles on it. The dealer wants $2,500 and I can bring mine, the 2005 ET2 with 650 miles on it, to trade in. I got mine for about $1,400. I still haven't gone in. But what would be a good deal here? Also is it a good trade? I like the GT but honestly I like the body and the headlight of the ET better. It seems like there are a lot of differences than just a bigger engine. And the GT is obviously in worse condition than mine.

If you have the patience until spring, you might consider selling the ET2 to a private party and just buying the GT200 outright. Our local dealers tend to offer 2/3 of KBB trade in value for clean scooters and less for obviously dinged ones and then tend to sell their used by 1/3-1/2 over KBB retail which seems pretty fair given the service, etc. that they need to do with these to get them saleable. Otherwise, I am seeing local KBB tradein values of $1380 which probably means $1000 trade-in. Ideally, if you don't like the styling of the GT200, wait for a good deal on a used GTS or LX.

I could sell it now, all seasons here are the same. Problem is, I just bought it and the old listing is still up. I'll go down tomorrow and see what happens with the dealer.
