Service Memo at 30,000 km.

Nick at Motorsport Scooters, San Diego, CA is an extremely competent wrench. He replaced my belt yesterday with an OEM. I had ridden 2000 km past the service limit. In changing out the belt he disassembled the variator to check the rollers for flat spots/wear. He also disassembled the clutch to mic the bronze bushing in the hub and steel spacer that fits on the clutch shaft to insure they're in spec, and knocked the glaze of the clutch pads and drum. This meticulous attention to detail doesn't happen every where.

I'm waiting for the results of his thorough effort with an objective road test report from you to see if the scooter performs/feels that much different now than before he took it apart.

Randy, I noticed the difference immediately leaving the shop! Motorsport Scooters is just a few blocks from the CA #805 Freeway. I could feel the clutch performing MUCH better accelerating on to the freeway, and then to my customary cruising speed of 6,500 rpm. Alan
