FYI I went ahead and ordered from an Indian Pharmacy and the package arrived in 3 wks just like they promised. The drugs appear to be manufactured by Cipro and came in a blister packs. So far so good.

After working overseas and traveling as much as i do i personally don't see a problem with overseas drugs. In fact i can remember immodium not being available here in the USA and i loved it when i worked in Saudi. Took a while for it to "get approved" here. We had drugs from all over the world when i worked in Saudi. More were from the UK but we had some asian (not china) ones also. People did well. I think at least in the USA we've become a pill oriented society. WONDER i wish we could get rid of the commercials altho a happy medium between none and the slew we get would be nice Any medicine has side effects. I look at some of the meds i gave people back in the 70's and a lot aren't around any more. There are good and bad pharmaceutical companies out there but some companies are getting around the laws. I'm sure some of these companies here in the USA are using loop holes to get the drugs out faster than they should be. In the end there is no difference between that a buying from a good reputable overseas company. I'm all for R&D but i think in this day and age if one were to look not as much is being used for that as we are led to believe. Correct me if i'm wrong i think the days of the drug companies giving out major freebies are over. I got dinners & trips but we had a good burn cream so it was more of a thank you rather than a trying to sell a product to us. Don't think you can do that today. Just use common sense and it should be all right.

There are a lot of good places to order generics online.

Check out http;//drugbuyers.com to sort out the good ones from the scams, and compare prices between IOPs. (International Online Pharmacies)

I, too, am without insurance. We have a health clinic at my university, but they don't cover prescriptions. Though they do sell them at cost, retail markup isn't very high. So I buy my meds online. I've never had a problem other than constantly having to research new suppliers since the cheapest ones go out of business more often.
