Replaced my Oxford heated grip controller with another brand. (had a spare "Gerber controller", and tested with an old "relay home made unit also") For anyone ever facing this issue, my oxford OF699 grips have to be connected in "parallel" to any controller. Or simply, connect the two grip white wires together, and the two green wires together. Then your replacement control wires would connect to each set, leaving three wires on the green, and three wires on the white wires. Uses 3.8 amps @ 14.5 volts, down to 3.0 amps @ 12.0 volts, when operating. Grip resistance measured 7.3 and 8.3 ohms each, creating 3.89 ohms in parallel.

So did the new controller take care of the problem? You didn't say, only told us what you did but not if it worked. Razz emoticon

Happy New Year anyway

yes they are working just fine right now, thanks for asking. Key thing is still showing up now and then, does not matter what direction either. Starting to possibly notice it may be happening when the key is pressed in for gas or seat latch?
