I read the Camera Mount section but it doesn't talk about a GPS mount,
are they different or would I be able to adapt it to work with an
attachment? I have seen some of you with GPS units on your scooters
and I would like to know brand names and model numbers? Also where to
purchase them.

Go directly to the Ram website to get a better idea.
http://www.ram-mount.com/products/motorcycles.htm

You can buy different attachments for the top end of the mount; one for a GPS holder and another for a camera. Then use them interchangeably.

When I get to the site, and I look up a model , there are no photos of it
attached to the morror post , plus there is only one veiw of the black
plastic mount which leaves out what it really looks like and how it gets
mounted. What I am hoping for is, someone with it on there scooter with
photos of it mounted. What mount they purchased and what GPS unit they
like. I would like a GPS unit that lets me know where gas stations are with
names( NO ARCO ). Large screen 4inches wide would be good, easy to read in the
bright sunlite. Bluetooth capture, and reliable, it doesn't need to be water
proof.

there are more threads on gps mounts than you can shake stick at... just try the search function.... and all of the gps that can search for gas stations will show arco. if you dont like arco, then don't go, just pick one of the other stations that pop up.

Here's a nice screen shot that I had stored away on my Photobucket account.
Can't remember the link where I got it from though. (Must be the RAM website)

Notice the Modern Vespa sticker?

Here's my RAM mount for my Garmin 60CX. This is the RAM-B-149Z-GA12U from Amazon.com. It sells for $28.80 for the complete kit with free shipping.
Here are some pics. Sorry for the bad quality. Something happened when I resized them and I didn't save the originals.

Another view. These mounts are almost all metal and hold the GPS very solidly. The installation would have only taken 5 minutes or so, but I cut off the u-bolt a little so the rubber caps would fit down against the nuts.
