Hi,

I just modded my 2001 Vespa ET4 to have a loud audible turn signal alert. I followed addicted's article on MV and just decided to film it in case anyone was considering doing this. If you have second thoughts on how easy it is or how it would sound, this video will help you. Enjoy!

Phuoc

Make sure to watch in HD: http://www.vimeo.com/11237766

Edit: Unfortunately, I don't know if it's possible to embed Vimeo videos... so you'll have to click the link to watch it.

Great video! Thanks for sharing.

That sound would certainly annoy me enough to NEVER forget my turn signal on again .

And that's exactly why I did this mod. I wouldn't want anyone to think I was turning left/right when I wasn't and cut right in front of me.

Thanks, Phuoc Le. Marvellously detailed video.
My ET4 turn signal assembly has broken loose. I tried to access it by the two screws under the handles. The bottom part of the panel is coming away a little but the top part is stuck. I just want to make sure it's just paint and that I won't damage anything by forcing it free. Also, any hints on securing the assembly as it was?

Thanks for such a detailed video! I want to install this on my Vespa S125, but if i'm going to have to cut any wires, I think i better leave it to the dealer or find a guy who is handy with these things! I also want to install a 12V charge on my S125, but haven't figured out how difficult this would be.

And, man I LOOOOOVE your blue Vespa, gorgeous gorgeous colour!!!!
