I took a ride to see the CA poppy reserve but they were gone.

I started out to Los Angeles but made a detour to the Fair Oaks soda Fountain its in South Pasadena, then I headed for the Angels Crest but it was closed at least that's what all the posted signs said. I road north to Lancaster Via the 210 to the 14 freeway it got cold and very windy I road to the poppy fields to find just a few left the were gone. So I road out to the I5 to Gorman then turned around for home

I'll post a few pictures In the next post the ride was 328 miles for the day not bad

I greatly enjoyed the desert scenery--those Joshua trees are cool!
Thanks for sharing the views

(And that food looks very tempting)

The best Mole in Los Angeles I always stop in for a bite after a ride in the area, it was on the food network
