As Homer often says DOH!

Both the mat and the foot placement are good ideas.

As a guy I guess I'd just rather complain about it instead of trying to find a better way.

I hope the ladies who've been reading these posts realize that the issue of the center stand is not specific to their gender...we men also have had issues (me included). My brother gave me some tips on getting it up on the center stand and taking it off the center stand...some of his comments as he stood there enjoing my efforts....

"It's a lot easier to roll the scoot if you release the brake lever...." ROFL emoticon

After several minutes of trying to stay seated and pushing if off the center stand...
"You can dismount and stand side saddle and try again...the concrete surface can by tricky" ROFL emoticon

"Make sure to move your foot when get it off the center stand...it does roll forward..." ROFL emoticon "By the way...don't forget about releasing the brake lever..." ROFL emoticon

I love my brother...

She is leaning towards the LX150. I think the weight of the big ones intimidate her. It's no good if she does not ride it.
