That is often the case, but clearly does not apply here.

As for changing the keeper, I doubt Capello will based on this single blunder. Especially since everyone agrees the ball is having some weird bounces. (And as I write this, the Ghana keeper almost had another get off his hands.)

Boulty, do you think the last line of that article is a tip for France? I hope not after what they did to Ireland.
Did you see Thierry Henry's handball appeal in their opening game? Oh, the irony.....
Aye I used to be indifferent to the French national team, but now they make my piss boil. Just the football team.

Also, Laughing emoticon at the fat bloke comment.

Is rugby really that different to football, apart from the very obvious? To me to him to him to him and then kick between the posts or run across the line...? Don't get me wrong, I like both sports - and yes many players are overpaid overrated prima donnas - but a great football match is a pleasure to behold. The beautiful game indeed...

there is a constant buzzing like a swarm of bees. Having never been to a live game I wonder, just how loud are those horns in the stands?

Rumour has it they're going to be banned - irritating everyone bar the people who are blowing them.

Each game sounds like a swarm of Vespas. Can't imagine what the decibel levels are for a full stadium of the horns blowing. Seems like it would interfere with on field communication between players. The US had some defensive mistakes that looked like they were due to lack of communication. Not sure if the horns are to blame for that.
