Hi all

I've got a situation.. I'm needing to move my vespa from Los Angeles, CA to Seattle, WA. She's a gorgeous little sunshine yellow 2007 LX150. Does anyone know any moving services that will relocate my Vespa?

And.. for the super hardcore riders.. Yeah, I considered driving it but I'm using all my vacation time to fly back to LA and pack my stuff. I just don't have the time necessary to make such an extremly long haul before I have to be back to work. A moving service is my only option.

We use a company called Mountain Movers out of our Sherman Oaks store. We would re-crate the scoot for you in a new 150 crate and have it delivered to your doorstep up in Washington. The +/- cost for this is around $500 including the crating and shipping.

So now you have option 1. Best of luck to you.

How is your stuff getting to Seattle? A scooter fits in a small U-haul van or trailer just fine.

company I took the job with is paying to move my stuff via moving service.. however they will not cover moving the vespa as they view it as a non-essential "recreational vehicle".

It may still be cheaper to get the company who's moving your other stuff to move the Vespa together with that, and to get them to split the invoice (so that you pay for the scoot, and your work pays for the rest).

Yeah thats my back up. I was just hoping for a cheaper way to do it. If I could take the amount it's costing me to move it I'd have the loan practically paid off. If I still had my jeep and my rack on the back I'd be fine but not too much to do with a tiny corolla.

I may sound extreme but have you considered selling it and buying another when you get there?
