Okay -
Went on ebay and bought a VTune bluetooth helmet a few weeks ago.

I had tried on a medium at a store and it was loose. So since I always wear a small anyway, I ordered a small online.

First thing. The helmet looks great. Visiblity in it is awesome. The padding is great. Sunshield is awesome as well. Being able to adjust volume etc., very easy. The helmet itself is very light.

The bluetooth calrity is an improvement, but cannot compete with the wind, so it can be used, but is not always audible over speeds of 50mph. I did not try the MP3 or GPS capablities, since I don't have those items.

Just to let you know, the small was really SMALL. I mean I had a massive headache after just using it for one day. I wanted to rip it off my head after an hour. My head still hurts today. It didn't bother me until about 30 minutes into my commute. Then it went from, "Is this thing on right" to "This is frickin' killing me!" The same thing happened on the way home.

And like I said, I always wear a small. So this has thrown me for a loop.

I have to send it back. I am sure they will offer me a medium, but what can I do, the medium was too big!

I have to email them to discuss the details, but I just wanted to let you all know that it pays to double check those sizes and measure if you can.

Other than all of that, it seems to be a pretty good helmet.

it's pretty easy to modify a helmet for comfort, the foam core can be 'pushed' on the inside to create more space for your head.

There is not as much padding at the top, just the actual white foam liner of the helmet. I would not want to start carving at the actual protective foam of the helmet just to have it fit properly.

My other small helmets fit just right. I don't know why this one is so off. We are now suspecting it is actually an XS labeled S by mistake. We have emailed the company for an exchange since they do not return money.

I am going to double check a medium helmet at a local store, (if they still have it).

My BF takes an XL, so we may switch the order to an XL for him, because we know that a XL in this helmet fits him fine, and I will get something later.

My BF is pretty happy with that plan! Razz emoticon Gosh Darn it!

you don't really carve or cut the foam - you just push really hard with your thumb to compress the foam by a mill or two. just try it in little stages on the spots that give discomfort or pressure.
