In my opinion, it looks around the "good deal" mark right now. Just cause the case is cracked... there might be good gears, body parts, speedo... cdi is worth some money - stator, flywheel...

Offer 400 and you can probably sell extraneous crap and get it down to a pretty affordable stock of spares you would actually be interested in.

They do say other stuff is "near death" - so you'll want to clarify what that might include.

Maybe others will disagree, but I think that is worth 450... like I said, the engine is full of gears, an expensive stator, an expensive flywheel, a clutch... the CDI might be good, the speedo is worth a lot... I think it's easily worth that and you can sell anything you don't want and just keep the extras for yourself as a stock.

Hmmm... I mean i know its a good deal.. Its just do I want to spend the time doing all that??? First off i dont have a garage which kinda blows... and second im going to have to worry about selling all the damn parts...

I hear ya - I get those urges too and I don't have a garage either. In a case like yours (ours), why bother? Are you terribly concerned that you'll never find the individual parts you need in the future?

If I had a garage, I'd pick something like that up for myself. But since I don't... I just have to pass. It's a P, so remember you'll be able to find parts for it for years to come

If it were me I would buy. Rebuild the engine, get the cases welded up and flip it.

I told DannyW to buy it, and learn how to repair / rebuild the P200 engine. We'll see if it's still available.

i haven't even email him yet.

but.

450 for a scooter you can basically take a part like a cadaver, seems like a good idea.

right now It's just a matter of where i'd keep it until the fall when i'll have spare time to get at it.

pull out the engine, work on that at your house... and put the scooter frame in Keith's garage or something.
