Modern Vespa

This seems to be a daft question but is there a best way to start my ET4? mine has triuble starting in the morning but once I have managed to get it going it is ok for the rest of the day but bad again next day??? has been in the garage and they say there is nothing wrong with it. Any idea's it is driving me mad.

The valve clearances need adjustment. The carb probably does as well. It should start first push with no throttle in the mornings. The only time it will be difficult will be when it has been standing for long periods.

Try charging the battery and see if that makes a difference.

Both my fly125 & runner ST200 need a bit of throttle to start from cold , Both are well maintained with valves & carb both adjusted

Will buy a battery tomorrow and see how it goes, I know the guy I bought the bike of did not use it for 12 months and charge the battery over night before I picked it up, so fingers crossed it may be the battery, he says he has changed it once 4 years ago.
