Met up with Voyageur5 and had a really nice pre-ride chat.
Here we are waiting for the fun to begin.
[/i]There were about thirty scoots in all with Burgmans, Vespa GTs and LXs, a couple of amazing vintage Vespas, and even some 49cc mopeds.
Everyone had a great time. The only unfortunate incident was a moped breakdown. The moped was left in a safe place on the route and the rider got to ride pillion on a Burgman for the remainder of the way.
Aside from the usual risks of group rides, the only not so pleasant part of the ride was breathing in all the foul exhaust fumes of the two-stroke crowd for hour after hour.
All in all though, a great first group ride experience.
