I really like the look of the Fuji Rabbits, but sadly lack the technical skill to keep them running. Availability of parts, and the technical know how to work on the scooter, may be factors to consider. I have no idea how appropriate the price is. But it is a nice looking scooter ...

looks good to me, and that price is really good. but parts are a total pain in the ass. if you dont plan on riding it very much then ya, go for it. but if you want to put thousands of miles a year on it....pass. there are lots of clubs for it but all are in Japan. i would pass and get a good 70's vespa.

There was a Scoot Mag article about a guy who put a sport bike engine in one. Might be worth checking out.

But they look like cool scoots to me.

If there was room in my garage I would not be replying till after it was sitting in my garage.

I know the guy selling it. Great bike in good shape, but...

1. You should have a garage to keep it in. It's old, the plastic and rubber will be hardened and can go to bits rather fast in the sun or fog.
2. Parts are rather hard to get if/when you need them.
3. You will need to be able to work on it yourself as not many shops would be willing to take it on.

CL post is down! Did you buy it? If so, color me jealous. What model is it?

And when will you bring it to LA for me to check out?

Anytime I mention my future Rabbit Superflow to Greasy, he gives me the stink eye, makes a chest-high gesture and says, "Not until you have a tool chest this big."
