I can get one NEW for $240.
Are the sizes true to what you usually wear?
I'm a small.

I'm thinking of getting a Nolan Trilogy and wanted to hear from some riders who have one and what they think of them. Please give me your input.

Check a pretty good discussion here http://www.sport-touring.net/forums/index.php?topic=46197.0 , although I disagree with the remark of not being able to wear it without the face shield.
I really like mine, had it for good 6 months now. Most of the time I ride without the chin guard or face shield (to hot around town). I think the pop down sun shield is great, maybe a little to light of a tint. Noise level is quite loud although I really have nothing to compare it to, so your mileage may vary. I wore it on my trip back from New Orleans (860 miles) with the chin guard on but with the face shield up. But that was behind a tall windscreen. I,m happy with it. Jack |

I love it - especially in the summer. Coolest option I have found for a FF replacement. Extremely wide and clear viewing range. Small independent sunshade is great but large clear shield has to be all the way up or all the way down (Or taken off altogether) there is no 1/2 open range to allow just a little airflow. Feels as non restrictive as a 3/4 but also feels much much safer BUT doesn't feel as safe as my FF Arai. Still, when it is really hot out, the thought of putting the Arai on is not very pleasing, so I choose according to whee I am riding. The Trilogy is very comfortable and feels like the safest choice for hot summer riding - (I always use the chin bar, which is unnoticeable once on. I doubt it is even as close to as strong as that on a true FF but a million percent safer than the open or 3/4 helmet design).

I have been using my Nolan trilogy (N43) for 2 weeks and so far I like it. It can see better than in a full face. The XS is slightly loose for me around the forehead, and the chin bar doesn't add some "grip" like a full face, but it doesn't come off when yanked. Only complaint now is that my visor latch is slightly defective already, the plastic is bent so the pivoting latch thing is loose on the left side. Maybe I pushed my visor up too hard, or maybe it was defective from the beginning. I'm now waiting for the dealer to get back to me. The inner sun visor is a bit too high for me, I often end up with it halfway along my field of vision which is distracting and so I don't use it.

I have one and use it with the chin bar and now that the weather is hotter, without. It is an X-small. I'm very happy with it. No issues with the face shield which can be removed.

Have one and liked it at first but found it very noisy on my motorcycle (ok on scoot). Wear it with the chin guard though. Disappointinged that a while back I took out the lining after a rainstorm and could never get it back in tightly enough and it now inteferes with the built in sun visor which is one of the features I liked. I have since moved on to an Arai RX-Q Italy flag helmet. Much quieter and better ventilation. No built in visor. Just sent for new Raleri light-activated visor insert.

I like mine:
Very wide range of vision compared to my previous Nolan modular. Very noisy. Built-in sun visor is too high so I can't use it, although my husband uses his. Haven't had the opportunity to test the strength of the chin guard, fortunately. |

Very noisy above 50MPH on my maxi, otherwise excellent.
I did read somewhere that the American version has fewer vents so is quieter - hearsay only. |
