My guess is that it should already have those - but if not...

on you old helmet the air channels are only for the exsiting small opening that you want to enlarge. I think you also need to look at the channels for the airflow itself under the liner. You might be able to enlarge them a little wider or redirect them someway to get better flow over your head. Don't forget to look at the exit side also it should be propotional to the intake side.

I got my Nexx Carbon helmet today, it fits perfect, snug, but not tight I am so happy. I have been looking for a helmet for 2 years now.
Already have my Parrot SK4000 headset mounted, it has flaps that cover the speakers, so your ears don't rub or catch on them when putting the helmet on.

That's one of the things I like about the HJC also - it has ear "pockets" that fit my Chatterbox earphones perfectly without catching on my ears.
