Hello All,

I was hoping someone could help me. I'm trying to find the correct bulb for my 2002 PX125 on www.vespaspares.co.uk. However there seems to be a numerous different fittings. Is there a way to tell without opening up the headset to check?

Cheers

Matt

Hello Matt

2002

PX125 and 150 and 200 all use the same bulb, you do need to check that it is a halogen or standard incandescent, they do come with 25/25 or 35/35 35 is best and generally a retro fit.

Thanks Grumpy,

So i'll need to open it up anyway to establish if it's halogen? Also what is a retro fit - most seem to say 'Bosch' fit or H1, H4 etc?

Hello

Sometimes they come from the factory fitted with a 25/25 or a 35/35 the 35 is best and can be fitted to either.
It is better to open it up to check which headlamp shell has been fitted (it may have been broken) and an older type fitted.
If it is the older type (probably bosch fitting) the glass goes milky white, the genuinen later halogen glass does not.

Hope this helps

Grumpy
