Hi guys

Just been reading up on the 226 and seems to be one of the best on the market, but is a bit pricey especially with delivery cost at about $75us for delivery to UK.
Any opinion on this or other exhausts as gonna get one in the next couple of weeks.

Huge +1. I have a PM pipe and it's fantastic.

Pipe can be ordered here and they are in the UK:

Installation:

Cheers.

The 226s are guaranteed for LIFE. Do any other pipe manufacturer offer a lifetime warranty?

Even besides that, they are the best pipe on the market. All that any other pipes have to say is "well, we're really good too(but not that good), and we're cheaper."

All that any other pipe users can say is "I really like mine / I'm really happy with mine / mine is really good / mine was cheaper."
But they can't say that theirs is better, or that they've got the dyno-proven best.

Yer just been looking, also had a look at scooter help and they say PM pipe can be dangerous on Malossi kits which have a cast exhaust stub. Also not sure I like the idea of messing with the exhaust to change a tyre. Would take about 20 min for exhaust to cool down! Still think its gonna be between the 226 and the RZ rh pipes

mate you should be a salesman for the 226, thats if your not already!! I do agree with what your saying though, to have the best exhaust and a lfetime guarantee for an extra £100 notes is starting to sound quite good. And all this because I want to improve my top end to 70MPH + for those long rides

I'm not a salesman for them, but many of my clubmates and other friends have the Hot Wing version, and they looooooove them. The experienced tuners of the bunch swear by them, and say they're the best pipe they've ever had, hands down. If I had the money, I'd have one too.

For power I really like the PM. Nice wide usable power band with no dips. The build quality is nice too and the silencer works really well, at idle. I've put 10,000 hard miles with the one on my smallframe and it's given me no issues at all.

I would say the PM and 226 are in the same league.

I've always told people you either spend $99 on an exhaust or $400. Nothing in the middle.

The difference in shipping could be enough to push me either way.
