Hi
I have a ET4 125, 1999. Having stalling issues at idle and have possibly narrowed it down to loss of vacuum. (Plug replaced, carb & jets clean, new battery, new intake manifold, new belt & rollers, new HT coil, CDI is ok and autochoke is ok).

The question is should the intake manifold have a gasket (mine is newly replaced and did not have one)? If it should, is there any problem in using liquid gasket if i apply it carefully. I am assuming that without a gasket, air may be getting in and bolloxing up the air/fuel mixture and therefore not letting it idle. Does this sound right.

I have a new fuel tap on the way also, just in case that could be the culprit.

Cheers
Ally
