So I put the dr pulley sliders in at stock weight and installed the larger idle jet, and I can feel a big difference. Which is a little upsetting at the same time, knowing that my scoot could have been running this way from the start.

The difference is that there is no/way less lag at starts. Less twist, wait and go; more twist and get ahead of the pack. It feels like the power band from 0-55? is very consistent and more responsive.

My rear shock is also set to the stiffest setting now, and with my 200lbs solo riding it feels nice and sporty. Pillon is just fine. I'm about to try pillon with luggage today and we'll see how it holds up.

I also put in the Stebell Magnum horn. Although it isn't as loud as I had hoped it would be, it does make me sound like a car. I was hoping for freight train. I will have to change that next time I tinker. But here is a new horn story from yesterday. I'm waiting at a red turn arrow in the left turn lane, and a large pickup truck is to my right, waiting at a red light to go straight. The driver looks at me, smiles and then starts putting on more makeup. Her light turns green and the line of cars behind her starts honking. I look over to see she is oblivious to the situation so I give her a little taste of the Magnum, at which time she looks in her rear view and then the green light and takes off. So that is a good sign of the effectiveness of the Stebell. Less 'meep meep' and more 'beep beep' but still no 'HONK HONK'
