i have this dilema, as u all might aware i am no fans of blink blink stuff.. last nite my cousin who have a super 150 came to my house and sold me a rear rack for $2, he had that rack from his friend but he didnt know what that rack are for and try it on at his vespa super and result it didnt fit so he sold it to me and now i am actually give it a test on my sprint v '77 but i didnt feel right so help me out with a opinion should i stick to this blink blink stuff or just play it natural without the rear rack and one other thing what do all think this rear rack dedicated to (i dont think it ever fit super nor sprint)

before and after thanks folks

Doesn't look sissy, but I think it ruins the lines of the scoot. Get rid of it if you don't need it..

I only put my racks on when I need them for going on rallies.

Hi,
if you want a nice rear rack for your sprint go too scooterclasico.com, click on vespa parts then click on vespa sprint/gt parts, scroll down the pages untill you see a red sprint with a copy of a origanal rear rack. very nice i have one for my spanish GS, there around 77 euros.

I'd say if it's not needed or used, leave it off because it does spoil the curved ass Crying or Very sad emoticon

If it's there for a purpose...meh. Stuff's allowed to be ugly, as long as it's practical. My wife made me put such a thing on the back of her scoot; I wasn't keen at first, but my food and beer gets strapped to the thing and brought home ready for me to consume - so now I like it

I wouldn't have turned it down for 2 bucks either - I also like buying stuff if it's too cheap to say no, and maybe need it one day. Maybe

First, I love the color of your scooter. Classy. Second, I'd keep the rack. Here's why: when you look at it and think it looks goofy, you're not sitting ON it. Racks like that tend to look better when they are accompanied by a person sitting on the scooter. Visually, having something other than the rack that reaches taller (a person) eliminates the goofy "back heavy" feeling you get when you look at it while parked. It also adds a little visual weight to the rear end when a person is on it. Have someone sit on it and then decide.

If you like it who cares what someone else thinks. If anyone thinks it looks "sissy" tell em to eff themselves.

As an adult I have learned not to give a damn about what other people think about regarding things that I like.

Koeng, thats why you have more than one scooter!

I wish everyone could have one "truck" as my buddy Jan calls his PX177. Then he rides one of his GS150's when he wants to be cool.

I am building up my own truck, P200e, when I get home from Denmark.

So, coolness is riding the GL, Allstate, GS160, Cushman...transport is riding the P200 and hauling stuff.

Form vs. Function
Who cares if someone else likes it? Do you like it? Sounds like you aren't convinced.

I encourage you to keep it on long enough to use it a few times. Then decide if the function is more valuable than the "look."

One of the great things about scooters is the emphasis on form and function.

Sissy, nah! Towel rack, that's a cheap shot.

Remember, not all opinions have the same weight (including mine)!

it does look better on the red scoot ~~IMHO
but i totally agree with most folks ~ take it off if not needed ( on the Sprint)
it looks good on the red one and it makes using it for shopping easier ~ which is a big plus in my mind... it will also carry a nice BIG DURIAN !! which i understand you in INdO have some of the best! Nerd emoticon
