L o L !!!! lol We can ride a 50cc with no L plates and carry a passenger too , If we hold a full car licence ! Likewise a learner on a 50cc can carry a passenger if the pillion holds a full car licence but it must still display an L plate . Here in Northern Ireland, even though we are part of the UK, our drivers must display an R plate for the 1st year and be restricted to 45mph, this also is the case when we pass the motorcycle test!!
