I'm putting my my MP3 500 out for sale as I do not have the time to ride do to work that sends me around the country. Still has remainder of extended warranty good until June 2011. Excellent shape, never dropped. Always garaged. Has small area on front lower frame where black paint rubbed off during professional shipping from California to Indiana.

Yes it seems like a good deal to me but i've had a bit of bad luck selling. Had three people back out so now I'm pretty leary unless it's paid in full. Most people don't know what it is or know very little about this scoot. Had on Cycle trader and sold, gave down payment then the guy lost his job and backed out. I have ads out but people are still trying to get me to go considerably lower or trade. I had someone who wanted to trade 250cc Vespa for it which just doesn't seem to be fair. Hoping on this forum people will be more interested. I'm taking a big hit but seems like a waste keeping it sitting in garage

local bike dealer has one on the floor, is this yours? they are not scooter dealer. i have looked at it

No Ive actually never seen an mp3 500 in Terre Haute before. Saw a smaller version on the streets that looked to be maybe a 400 but couldn't get close enough to look. Was at the two big dealers in town last month and didn't see so it must be a new addition. I'll take a look. Sure it was the 500? Can tell you it's not mine on their floor. This is private sale

I'll be darn. I went to the local dealer and there was the 500. Had Givi windshield, aftermarket hand grips and more worn looking. Asked place and it's there on consignment and asking for 6400. Mine is considerably less expensive......as a matter of fact after seeing that one I'm dropping the price to 5100 obo......mine is much cleaner

i have followed one from bloomington on a sunday ride. moved pretty good, it is a 500 they have at the dealer. there was one at several of the bike shows last season at the paradise evening gathering.

Thanks!! yes Bloomington/Nashville would be the perfect area to go......I'm very very tempted to just take out of garage and ride around Bloomington for a few days but not worth getting plates/registration right now.

FWIW I would not keep on lowering the price, it's super low as it is. I would just be willing to wait a bit longer to sell it. The buyer is out there, he just hasn't stumbled across this bike yet!

Hello Venice Beach friend! I was just out there a couple of months visiting friend who lives there......but your right, if it were not for the fact that I'm looking at buying a new car probably wouldn't lower. Started out in Jan/Feb with it a couple of thousand higher but now you see used ones popping up for low low prices

Wanted to say goodbye to the folks on Modern Vespa. I know I wasn't very active but do appreciate the help/comments i received over the past two years. Was very sad day but sold my 500 to Gent in Ohio for ...gulp!!! 4950.........I know that's probably a bit insane but I have had such difficulty with the economy, folks wanting to buy then backing out and I needed to do this so could buy car. Had advertised in motorcycle magazines with no bites, craigs list and finally ebay. Think folks just don't know what kinda scoot this is!!
