Modern Vespa

I have a 2009/2010 GTS 300 super, red with a black seat and white piping. I just had my top box installed and I was rather miffed the passenger seat back is a different material!! It is black but it is some crackled style material. I don't know what to do. Should I complain and take it back? I am disappointed that I spent the money on it, installed it and to find out the frigging materials don't match. I just bought my scooter little over a month ago so it is not like the material is discontinued or something... ARG!

Ok. I called the dealer, all my complaining for nothing. It seems they ordered the wrong part. It is a different top case all together, seems the seat back is really the only difference?? Looks almost identical except the material (crackle)+ white piping like the seat.. They are going to order the correct part, and swap it out when they get it in.

The cases for the entire GT line are all the same, it's just the backrest pads that are different. But it's entirely possible they still all have different part numbers because of it, even for the same color.

The backrest pads are available separately (in Europe at any rate) so maybe they've just ordered the correct one.

When did Vespa start making a GTS 200 Super, I want one!!!

In my agitated stupor, I typoed.... 300 I meant.... I am running on little sleep lately.
