Modern Vespa

I want to add a rear rack to my gts 300 super. does the rear rack attach to the existing round chrome bar that came with the scoot? Or do i take teh current round bar off and the rear rack is a complete new unit?

PS - I want to go with the vespa oem rear rack.

The rear rack sits on top the mounting for the rear grab handles.

So it somehow mounts to the existing rear grab handle? I see two holes in the back of the rear grab handle that are capped. I assume the caps come off and that is the mounting point?
