Hi All,

Here's a question. For the last 2 years I've turned up at the following UK event on my motorcycle. How would people feel about turning up on scoots?

UK: Run to the Wall
http://www.rttw.org/

I suppose the same question applies to the US event, which has been running for longer (last one was in May 2010):

Run for the wall
http://www.rftw.org/

When I turned up to the UK event in 2008 (~2000 riders), there was a definite Harley Davidson dominance but a good proportion of other bikes. In 2009 (~4000 riders) the mix of bikes was much more diverse, with a tut-tut and trikes turning up as well. So could it be time to add other members of the motorised 2 & 3 wheel community to this event?

I'd be interested in your thoughts!

I can't honestly see anyone making a fuss about turning up on a scooter. Most of these occasions is about turning up on two wheels be it a bike or scooter I'm sure you'll be made welcome, but be prepared for some ribbing!

Scooters will be just fine for this - and I'm sorry I'll be missing it, but I'll be hooning around North Wales then.

Oct 2nd? Rats, looks like I'll be missing it too. I'd hoped this would be the year I'd finally make it, bah!

Ride what you ride competently and respectfully and nobody will have a problem. Anyone who does is an idiot who's missing the point of the rideout.
