Is there anyone out there who makes this conversion? A shop or a guy in his garage? I have a fork from a P200 and a Super frame. I know this can be done but I dont have the knowledge or tooling to make it happen and I dont trust a local machine shop with no experience in such things to do the job. I prefer to find someone with experience and means. Suggestions?

A P is a large frame.
That said, there a ton of really good threads on the BBS about this that come up easy with a search. Try "P fork conversion"

It's gonna involve cutting the fork in half, cutting a piece out of the middle, and then rewelding the two pieces together. You're also gonna need to cut/weld new steering stops, and maybe a fork lock slot.
Starting with a PK fork will give you basically the same thing as a P fork, but is a more appropriate length.

A PX-fork in an old large frame is just wrong. It's going to sit too high, and you wont be able to fit the front mudguard properly.

The way to go is a PK XL2 fork. There are small variations on these, so have a look at http://www.vespa-t5.org/mechanik/pk-gabel-in-oldie/
to fint the correct one.

Just curious, what does he need the steering stops for? I'd rather say, you need to fix a slot for the lock, or you wont be able to lock it. And if you like steering stops weld them on there, but they are not needed.

With the PK (XL2) fork you'll still have trouble fitting the mudguard properly, but now its doable.

Then again, why do you want to fit a different fork? If it is because you want to add a disc brake, then I understand. If not, why not just do it right and get a super-fork?

The reason I want to do this is simple. I want a disk brake and good suspension on the Super and I have the fork already. I know I can do it with a PK fork but I don't have one and their not exactly that easy to come by. That's why I am inquiring about this. I've seen other sprints and such with P forks in them, obviously modified. Thanks for the help.

just put an extra bearing race on the bottom then it should work with a lkittle tweaking. justs cut the stops off. this is my vbb with a pfork its ugly but it works on the highway better than the 8 inch front fork i had for years.

You can drop a P fork in and how it turns out totally depends on your skill level, time and budget. Quick and dirty doesn't take much but will obviously wind up looking like a P fork jammed into a Super frame. With the right combo of skill, time and $$ you can get it closer to looking like it belongs.

Cheaper and WAY easier option is a late model Bajaj fork, no disk brake but the way the anti-dive is designed, you won't need it.

I assume you are running a 10" wheel on the back as well?
