Does anyone know if the all weather seat cover on ScooterWorks is lockable? I leave my scooter at the train station during the day and am quite sure a seat cover would be missing if not secured to the bike somehow.

If it's anything like the stock cover that comes with the GT range, then yes. The elastic will stay far enough under the seat that it'd be pretty impossible to get the cover off without cutting it apart, therefore making it useless. You do have to watch that the seat lock itself doesn't catch on the cover--that'll either damage the lock, damage the cover, or make it extremely hard to unlock again (and usually harder to lock in the first place).

I have a custom replacement seat cover from Pirate, and it's the same way. Very easy to lock onto the seat, just be careful about it.

Can you make it "less appealing".

I know you got it because you like the look but a couple pieces of duct tape or an "over spray of paint" may make the cover look a little ratty and damaged to a potential thief.

just an idea...

my neighbor has printed on his car cover in huge letters "STOLEN FROM 21982 ELM AVE"

(that's not the real address, figured I'd make that part up)

I always thought that was a pretty clever idea.
