Clearwater Lights
I have had a set of these on my 75 BMW sidecar rig since January. They provide very good daylight on-coming recognition and provide very supplemental night lighting. They are dimmable and only draw 12 watts at full power. Very good service from manufacturer who also did the install. No connections to manufacturer.

I've seen several pairs on some Spyders and they look great. Really makes a difference. Of all the gadgets out there such as modulators and the like, these increase your presence the most and from all angles in my opinion.

Here is another supplemental night light that has received great reviews at www.mcnews.com . Will be adding them to my bike next month, cost $149.99. http://www.skenedesign.com/lights/PB_Features.shtml They have a unique feature I have not seen in any other lighting system. ![]() ![]() ⚠️ Last edited by Maynard Schweigert on UTC; edited 1 time

At $500 range, i would put the money on a new seat first! For safety lights, www.electricalconnection.com is just finishing up on a 1w bright LED set, and cost under $200 I believe. Like PIAA

 You could ride down the street with a WWII search light attached to your bike and "dufus" will make a left in front of you! Didn't see yah. Dah!! I had an 1800 Wing riding with my brights on in day light and "dufus" pulled in front of me! I looked like a 747 coming!!!!!!

I'm in the wrong business! I need to make replacement Hi-Vis LED replacements for the Givi Boxes and for this type application. Those guys are being so sneaky on their marketing hype - that blinking out of the corner of your eye stuff - they simply have a multiplexed driver which is normal to reduce your driver costs. Classic case of if you can't fix it feature it.
I could make something like this and sell it for half and still make a decent profit. Biggest thing would be the "wrapper" how to mount it and contain it. I'm betting something standard exists out there... |
