For the past 2 months I have been having serious ignition problems and need some help. Here's whats happened:

1. Two months ago the bike was stalling when it was wet or damp. My local shop replaced the CDI, wire, and spark plug. Everything ran great for about a month.

2. One month ago the bike was misfiring badly and it was traced to be a bad stator by my local shop. We replaced the stator and the bike was running fine.

3. Two weeks ago I was left stranded on the side of the road with no spark. Local shop replaced the the Hall sensor on the new stator as it looked like it had been rubbing. The bike ran fine for 1 week

4. This past weekend we were on a group ride to our annual Rally. The bike stalled out 2 hours in and once again had no spark. We could not get it started. The flywheel was very hot, but it was 35C outside at the time.

Currently the bike is sitting at my local shop, which has a very comptetent vintage mechanic. Does anyone have any ideas??? Stumped here, and just want to ride the bike Crying or Very sad emoticon

This bike had a Pinasco 177 kit installed last year and there have been no issues with that.

If anyone has had a similar issue and can chime in that would be great.

Thanks Nate. I believe you are good friends with Mary who I ride with quite often? Trev is pretty knowledgeable and he is stumped too, but plans on diving into it this week to find the issue.

As for the lights they don't seem too dim. I will mention to him that you swapped out the flywheel as I believe that's what he may check next
