Hi again

Finally got round to de-restricting my ET4 50cc.

I had the washer removed that was stopping me going over 30mph, but now it seems to stop again at about 37mph even downhill.

Looking at other posts on here it looks like I need to make a cut in the CDI unit.
Now according to what I have read, this should be under the horn cover. But I have nothing there.
Could it be situated anywhere else.
All I have where it should be is a red metal cylinder about 6 inches long with a black cap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

On the 50cc its tucked away under the pet carrier... follow the sparkplug lead back and youll find it... its held to the body with 2x 8mm nuts.
