I've seen several referrences to scooting in Italy and have read the Vroom series a few times.
We're planning on going in a couple of years and need some ideas about how best to obtain a vespa while there. Is it best to rent (I'll want a GTS300), buy one and sell it, ship it back, buy one in the UK (where I have citizenship), sell it there, ship it from there?
