I am gonna ask humbly once more that a 'bodgespotting' sticky is created where people can post these to their heart's content without creating thread after thread after thread.
If, as has been stated, the purpose of posting these is educational, a sticky would help noobs since it'll all be in one place for easy review and research. If this idea doesn't get any traction this time either, I'll stop going on about it... it's only a message board after all, and I'll live fine either way. Anyway, just a suggestion. |

Fair enough, but the kick kind of wears off after the first hundred posts. Or the 3rd friend of a friend you have to tell to write off his fancy brand new scooter.
Seriously, some of us have been looking at bodges for years and years, and the initial amusement, or even outrage, has just turned into a small well of sadness deep inside. Stop poking me where it hurts... |

I once had an old Vespa super with original banana yellow and I loved the color . I think yellow only came on U.S. scoots ? If done correct it can be a nice color .

DominicLNanni wrote: http://scoot.net/classifieds/forsale.html?id=23044 UGH!!! what is this world coming too.!!! Essentially, every time one of these bodges pops up on scoot.net we need to post a followup that it is bodge, with a link to the Rover identification webpage, and a massive DANGER! listed with it. Perhaps then the Ho chi mihn folks will bugger off the classifieds... |

I don't care about bodges, who tries to sell them, or who wants to fucking ride them. There is quite ENOUGH info out there already as it is. There is nothing left of this dead horse to beat on! |

LOL ~
i agree it is a great idea to start a bodge spotting thread instead of endless new threads!~ i wish i saw one a long time ago .....
that company is located in Saigon btw ~ i doubt they will ever stop using classifieds as long as some person buys the scoots ~ unfortunately ppl still must be buying them ... so our Job is Education to stop them from selling .... |

I predict that, like all stickies, it will become invisible after a short period. But hey, I'll try anything once. |

There is no effort to obscure or mislead about the origin here. Look at "Location". Where do you think Ho Chi Minh is? Fresno?
