Modern Vespa

I was flipping through channels today and saw the guys from American Chopper renting and riding 250 GTS from Vespa House in Melborne, Australia and they were extoling the virtues of riding scooters. Though the part where they were herding sheep riding Vespas around a sheep farm outside of Melbourne was a little strange.

They were wearing open face helmets but one had on shorts and neither jackets.

Not Down Under... but hey..... scooters!!!!

Yup, the NYSC and OCC guys. Bonding.

Mikey came to our Wed night meet, shot some footage, etc (he trucked his Vino down). Then as part of the shoot Mikey invited us to the OCC shop for the car show.

We probably had 40 bikes or so roll up that day. It was cool. Not earth shattering or anything, but a nice ride up, lots of hurry up and wait while we were there shooting, and then a great ride home. Overall a fun day.

Mikey and his brother were cool, hung out a bit.

Normally I don't like to see people crash but that wreck was hilarious. The OCC guys were pretty cool about the wrecked scoot. I would have been livid, then again I would not have a valet park my scoot.
