whadda think? If the Ferarri mechanic/certified Vespa restorer says it's ok then...
they do have a copy of the original Arizona title.

This clean, vintage scooter has been parked for the last three years at my mechanic's shop. He has gone through the entire vehicle and has repaired and adjusted everything accordingly, including new brakes.
Everything works fine. It needs nothing.
The rebuilt engine has 999 kilometers on it.
I have a copy of the original Arizona title from 1968, which shows it costs 400.00 in those days. The vin numbers on the original title do in fact match the vin numbers on the scooter and the California title.
Although the scooter is documented Italian, there certainly are some after-market parts on it, like the trim and the new odometer. So the vehicle is not completely original. I don't believe in lying or trying to deceive anyone. People have complained about the restoration job, using after- market parts. I did not do the restoration job, nor do I know the exact whereabouts of this vehicle for the last 40 years. I have had this scooter in my possesion for the last three years and like I said, my mechanic who is a certified vespas mechanic as well as a restorer of vintage ferraris has inspected everything.
Clean title. Starts on first kick.
I hate to see it go, But I am making a documentary film in Italy. Priced to sell.
ciao,
